As the Broken Saints legend continued to spread, more tinseltown types were sniffing around for slick ways to use the ‘motion comic’ style to promote their own heavyweight projects.

Enter the NBC Universal Digital team, who saw an opportunity to leverage Dark Horse’s print comic awesomeness to forge two digital shorts that would act as narrative ‘bookends’ for director Guillermo Del Toro’s $80M HELLBOY 2: The Golden Army. 

Other than the artwork (which was already completed by a protege of the great Mike Mignola) I built these promos from the ground-up by rallying the animator, audio team, and voice talent under the same creative vision in order to bring everything in on time, and under budget.
